The Coordinating Commission on Dec. 3 paid tribute to Eric Seacrest of North Platte, who is stepping down from his role as a Commissioner after nearly 30 years of service.

The Coordinating Commission analyzes high school graduation rates, college continuation rates, and college graduation rates for Nebraska students in the 2025 Nebraska Higher Education Progress Report. The report also situates Nebraska’s performance in national comparisons and uses U.S. Census data to track net migration into and out of Nebraska by education attainment.
The Coordinating Commission has identified opportunities and strategies to address these issues in the Comprehensive Statewide Plan for Postsecondary Education.
