Commission publishes latest issue of newsletter

The Coordinating Commission has published the latest issue of its newsletter, Commission Update.

In this issue:

  • The Commission is the organizing force behind Nebraska’s participation in a 13-state initiative to help military service members, veterans and their families overcome barriers to earning postsecondary credentials and entering the workforce. The initiative is picking up steam after a Nov. 19 meeting at Central Community College.
  • The Commission is leading an effort in Nebraska to encourage more high school students to apply for federal financial aid to attend college, as part of the U.S. Department of Education’s new FAFSA Completion Initiative.
  • The Commission released its year-end reports for the Access College Early (ACE) and Nebraska Opportunity Grant (NOG) financial aid programs.
