This year's summit will be held at the Lancaster Event Center, 4100 N. 84th St., Lincoln. Speakers include Gov. Pete Ricketts, Patrick Forrest of the National Association of Manufacterers, and Peru State College President Marysz Rames. The Legislature's Business and Labor Committee will hold a public hearing on Legislative Resolution 533, an interim study to "examine promoting career education and training that can lead to job readiness for middle-skill jobs." The hearing will be held in Room 2102 at the Capitol.
