Nebraska's Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education

Zink elected to second term as chair

The Coordinating Commission has elected Carol Zink of Lincoln to a second one-year term as chair. Zink's fellow commissioners voted unanimously for her appointment at the June 9 commission meeting.

Zink is a retired educator with Lincoln Public Schools, where she worked for more than 40 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and early childhood education from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio, and a master's degree in elementary education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She was first appointed to the commission in 2007.

Scott Wilson of Papillion was elected to a second term as vice chair. John Bernthal of Lincoln and Dwayne Probyn of Papillion will join Zink and Wilson on the commission's Executive Committee.
