Nelson appointed to the Coordinating Commission

Governor Jim Pillen has appointed Dannika Nelson to the Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education in an at-large position.  Nelson is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of With Purpose Consulting Group, LLC., which creates innovative software solutions to solve the big challenges facing education. She has had a long career in education as a middle and high school science teacher at Bellevue Public Schools, West Point-Beemer Public Schools, and Oakland-Craig Public Schools. Ms. Nelson has also been an adjunct professor for Midland University and a part-time coordinator of Midland University’s Teacher Career Ladder Program.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education with a Natural Sciences Endorsement from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, an MSED in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College, and a Master of Business Administration from Midland University.  She and her family reside near Oakland.
