Attracting Excellence to Teaching Program (AETP) and AETP – Student Teaching Application Process Open

Both the Attracting Excellence to Teaching Program (AETP) and AETP – Student Teaching program provide forgivable loans to eligible students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate teacher education program at an eligible Nebraska institution working towards their initial certificate to teach in Nebraska. The AETP/AETP-ST applications opened on April 15, 2026, with the deadline to submit these applications for your institution to review June 1, 2026.
